All product contained in the Philips Fortimo LED Line sample boxes are fully commercially released and of the highest quality. The sample boxes do not contain engineering samples or early prototypes. They do, however, contain electrical components which should be handled with care by qualified lighting professionals only. The Fortimo LED Line samples are meant to be designed in to a luminaire, taking all appropriate precautions.
